This is the latest .pk3 only version of Ashes Episode 2 (Ashes: Afterglow).
Pk3 only version of Episode 2. Only for use with GZDoom and the Doom2/Freedoom2 iwad.
To run, simply drag and drop the extracted pk3 over your GZDoom.exe.
Version 1.15:
- Sawed off shotgun no longer automatically reloads on empty, and can be reload-cancelled with altfire or switching weapon.
- Hopefully broken elevators bugs in Map22/23 are fixed.
- Savage cannibals now have a fire-death animation.
- New Titlemap as it looks better in full resolution.
- Gemini now drops a bunch of 5.56mm rounds, napalm ammo and pipebombs to make fighting him somewhat worth the trouble.
- Added some random bug dogs to the badlands, just to give Lucy something to eat and scav something else to fight.
- Added a red light to the Array basement entrance, so people find it easier to see the switch.
- Hopefully fixed the issue with the Smiley release dialogue.
- Added a handful of REGEN stims to some of the early maps, because one single (secret) stim in the entire episode is very mean.
- You can now still turn Kyle in to the Sheriff, even if you finish all the main quests for Prosperity.
- Made absolutely sure no errant elevators can break progression.
- Shotgun bayonet now does consistent damage between upgrades (no nerf on level 3)
- added footstep sounds to broken glass
- fixed some footsteps sound issues
- Fixed old Overseer gib sprites
for some reason the loading screen is the doom 2 one
i think you need to load the "SAmenu" pk3 as well

I'm not sure how far I am into the game but just to be sure I wouldn't recommend reading this if you haven't finished it yet.
After I got Smiley out of jail, the stash he tells you about keeps producing the "Odd, someone has chalked an 'S' on this rock" instead of opening, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if it's a bug.
Possibly a bug. You can noclip just past it and the quest should resolve. I will see if I can remedy for the next update.
Hey man, just want to let you know that episode 1 and 2 worked flawlessly on LZDoom v3.88b 64-bit for Windows. I also used Nash's Gore to spice up the recipe. =D The weapons pack also worked with LZDoom, and just to top it off, everything ran in software mode.Thanks for all the good work! And I want your mod to be added to id Software's list of official addons. ^^

After replaying it for the second time I got to say,this has been the best mod I have ever played, although the textures made me lag a little a bit the scenery and places are beautiful and I love how it ties up ends like you see how the last stop is doing,seeing barret and his new crew,prosperity becoming a boomtown if you decided to join the baron and the beast master and Lucy.Oh and smiley dying Anyway this a absolutely great mod,hope to see your upcoming works
