This is a massive update for Jedi Knight's textures using AI upscaling and manual touch-ups while preserving the original artistic feel. Over 300 textures!
This works best with the textures provided in Jedi Knight Enhanced 3.2. If you are using Jedi Knight Enhanced 3.3, be aware that you are mixing original game assets with Vurt's retexturing mod, so the styling will not match the original game in places. I did not replace every texture, so many of Vurt's textures provided in 3.3 will render. Vurt's mod is fantastic, but it doesn't match the original game style. For the best experience with this texture pack, copy over the textures in JKE 3.2, then copy over the textures in this mod.
If using Jedi Knight Enhanced 3.2, I strongly suggest updating the openjkdf2 version to the latest, v0.9.1 renders substantially better filtering.
This is a massive update for Jedi Knight's textures. I did my best to maintain the original styles where possible to retain the same feel. I used AI upscaling and manual touch-ups. It is amazing what a difference that this makes! I am quite happy with the result. I did not update every texture - I only updated the ones that bothered me the most. Some textures were too small to upscale, and the existing ones in Jedi Knight Enhanced 3.2 looked better than my upscaled ones. In these cases I just kept the ones that looked the best.
I am the most proud of Sulon, Kyle's home. The difference of textures is night and day, it looks fantastic.
A big thank you to the Jedi Knight Enhanced project, General Tantor, and the Jedi Knight community for making this possible.
This contains a few parts:
- The textures themselves
- Enhanced Bryar pistol and Stormtrooper rifle textures (shading improvements)
- Fix for upscaled starry textures not showing (JK Enhanced <= 3.2 issue)
- Fix for repeater rounds being transparent (JK Enhanced <= 3.2 issue)
- Fix for yellow-green hue that was mistakenly added to the rail detonator texture years ago when it was remastered.

Oh man, this looks fantastic! It kills me that I have to wait till tomorrow to try it! I suppose now is a good time to ask for a MotS upscale? :)
