The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Replaces the Anomaly icons with completely newly rendered ones! all items covered!

Long Story:
The item icons should match their world models (the vast majority at least).
I took some color liberties on some items, since some of them share the same models.
I originally only wanted to do artefacts since they've always bothered me,
didn't look like how they look like in game, so I wanted to make them look like so.
All items have been covered, remember not all items have a world model so I filled the empty spots as best as I could, with free assets online and assets I've bought during this time.
Install through MO2! the mod now comes with a FOMOD.
Indicators are provided through a patch that works with Dynamic Icon Indicators.
Including compatibility with EFTMO, but you don't need EFTMO to run EFT like icons.

The icons look a bit blurry to me. Is it dependant on screen resolution?
Most likely, they have no mipmaps so regardless of texture resolution in settings they'll look the same but, less pixels in your monitor will definitely affect how they look.

It's entirely compatible with Zone Justice Warriors and Dynamic Faction Based Crashes to Desktop, including infinite ammo from mags and traders.

As someone who is fairly new to Anomaly I'm rather confused on what options to choose during the installation process (in MO2) and there is no detailed explanation in the description. I'm guessing the options are patches for other mods?
MO2 will show an extra button to press called "package.txt" if you click it, it'll open the txt containing the explanation about the options, but yes it is compatibility.
That button, with the Package.txt label, is greyed out for me and there is no txt-file in the zip.

Everything looks cool! but why is the top view selected for the ammo icons? When everything is in the same style, it looks more beautiful in my opinion. The side angle looks better for them. See for yourself.

I wonder how do you save your images to .dds? The output files are over 120 MB big! Paint.NET with BC3 Linear DXT5 settings produces the exact files but with only 32 MB of size. And of course they are working fine.
Yeah, so BC1-5 OR DXT1-3 compression are fine but add artefacts due to compression, it's unlikely you notice them most of the time.
As a good practice I deliver a compresionless texture file saved in r8g8b8a8, which ends up as a big sized file of course, buy generally icons and hud should be left uncompressed and without nip maps.
Furthermore since they're delivered with no compression, users with knowledge can mess with the file and compress on their end and loose barely any quality/get barely any artefacts.
Had plans on mentioning this later on in case people decided to compress it.
