Keep Crosshair When Aiming + Stronger Crosshair 1.5.1-1.5.2 DLTX / non-DLTX addon

The other purpose of the tweaking part of the addon is just to give you access to the game's crosshair settings. You can also use it to turn on the dynamic crosshair.

To turn off the crosshair since it stays on, you can use the really cool addon Crosshair Toggle Hotkey (requires MCM)

I am not aware of how to toggle the keeping-while-aiming during game. But that part of the addon can be toggled by:

(MO2, either version) reinstalling in Mod Organizer without the option, if you want the tweak option with default values.
(MO2, either version) install two copies of the addon in Mod Organizer, to toggle hiding or the tweaker.
(DLTX version) renaming the beginning of mod-system-crosshair-keep.ltx
(non-DLTX) renaming the weapons folder they are in, if they are the only addon files there, or, moving the files.

I recommend an in-game setting of 255 R,G,B, 195 Alpha. (in readme)

To get DLTX, you can go here for 1.5.1, download from the page, copy into your bin folder (backup the old)

To make the mod, I just changed zoom_hide_crosshair to false in all of the w_weapon.ltx files. To get the tweak file, you just take and change the crosshair section of system.ltx.

Finally, here is a list of other addons I think are essential for smoothing out the gun machanics

Weapon Auto Reload

Fluid Aim (Automatically aim after reloading when you are holding aim, instead of needing to release and press again. Yes, that's how it is in Vanilla)

Grenade throw strength indicator (has a better alternative texture patch)

weapon cover tilt inertia (for better animation)

Crook's Faction Identification UI (really good if you turn just the faction badges on and show it to the side of the crosshair)

No weapon drop from melee

LESSER Camera sway when hit

Squeeze Through+Higher Prone or Crouch

1st Person Visible Body

Quick Melee Attack for Anomaly 1.5.1 - OUTDATED (This is the quick knife button. You can use this alongside the newer quick melee addon if you rename quickdraw.script)
