Change the base-game MG sight into a reticle like those found on many historic Italic planes!
Took the vanilla MG sight, & edited it so that it'd look more like the San Giorgio tipo B reticle found on various historical Italic planes, characterized by its three dots.
Note : Screencap was edited for the sake of improved visibility.
...do you like my wing&tail decals? ;Þ
Easier done than sai-erm, written!
The new sight is in a .zip archive - easily extracted via programs such as WinRar or 7zip!
Just extract the contents to the game's directory!
(in my case : C:/Program Files (x86)/Paradox Entertainment/Airfix Dogfighter )
One can either download/drag the archive in said directory, right click, then left-click "extract here", or alternatively leave the archive where-ever, right-click it, then left-click "Extract files..." and input the directory in the text-bar or navigate manually.
Well, uhm... due to the way the game works, this part is a tad more complex.
There's multiple means to attain the result, these are :
In this case, the file is located in [...]Airfix Dogfighter/Graphics/ingame/HUD ,
name & format are "MGsight.gti"
Credit for the Airfix Dogfighter assets goes to the game's visual artists :
P. Andersson, K.M. Trœdsson, L.Krylov, G.Odgren.

Okay, so...
I've made an addon that turns the MG_sight
into a blank, aka gets rid of it,
in order to showcase the RO_sight altered
to look like a bazooka crosshair,
& in the process I might've borked up
& uploaded an archive with the blank...
whoopsie...?
Anyway, consider the mod fixed
