This is a MAPS ONLY version of Episode 2 for use with other gameplay mods.
Contains a linear version of Episode 2 with the story and vehicle sections stripped out. You can play it with almost any gameplay mod. Compatibility and balance are not guaranteed!
Only for use with GZDoom and the Doom2/Freedoom2 iwad.
To use: Simplest way is to drag and drop the extracted pk3 over your gzdoom executable. More complex usage will require launching gzdoom with custom file parameters using a shortcut, launcher or some other method.

Finally! Done a modded run with first episode of "Ashes" along with "Dead Man Walking" episode before. Can't wait to try this release out!

Yes there was. It's based on a much older version of the episode. We might put it up here later.
Is it possible to create hub worlds where you can talk around with people and do the same quests, but change up the dialogue so that the people are completely aware that you're an entirely different breed of human?
I'm currently on map11 and this thing has been fun. Not too rough fight difficulty, but the feeling is really good considering the type of conversion it was. Exploring the maps has been a real treat and the attention to detail has been very enjoyable.
Is there a track from MAP03's concert hall? That loop is very dope! <3
IIRC it's from an older version of the track "Wasteland" (which can be found in the Ashes 2063 OST).
It didn't work for Zandronum... I just wanna play it on coop
Not sure about this one or what I can do. Zandronum is most likely missing some of the newest gzdoom features, sadly. The two ports parted ways a long time ago.
Afaik Zandronum is still years worth of updates behind GZDoom.
So it's probably not something that could reasonably be rectified unfortunately.
for what it worth gzdoom is more than sufficient for online play based off of my time with it for hosting Hideous Destructor coop sessions.
how do i get trhough flooded district?in the normal version of the game when i arrive at the place that floods and face the mutant that has fire atack for the first time there is a gate that opens and i can pass,in sterile when the gate opens its completely blocked by rubble,i understand this has some diferent paths and some are blocked but either there is a something wrong with this map or i simply cant find my way through i would post a screenshot but cant do that in the coment section
Better late than never. MAP04 - The Flooded District has a broken ACS_Execute function on ACS Script 02, line 34.
Simply change "ACS_EXECUTE(14,2)" for "ACS_EXECUTE(14,0)"
After changing it myself, the outer door to the parking lot opens correctly, flooding the area to the correct water level and the rubble blocking the entrance to the rest of the location lowers as it was intended.
looks like some maps might have issues with certain ACS scripts not getting executed leading to softlocks on some maps. might just be an issue with Hideous Destructor though. but map 03's gas silo set piece door never seems to open. worked around with a chainsaw to destroy the sector. the flooded district as someone else noted has the raised rubble pile that blocks player progression. (not soft lock with HD but could for non cheat users.)
