I was gonna push for a Beta2 soon but noticed all Energy weapons are HORRIBLE looking/fireing
also i was not happy with the Weapon Selection of Half Life since it does not look right in a RPG,
so i had a few EXTREME Coding Changes planned, but my coder jumped out for having to much to do and all other Coders i asked were either busy or simply shocked by the amount of stuff and work even tho i offered ALOT of generous payment
let me display a few of the supposed changes:
Inventory:
This is a basic screen of a Invnetory System in Deus Ex
- activated by pressing i and has mouse control inside
- top left drop down menu for weapons like in half life removed and replaced by quickslots (bottom right in image)
- size of inventory item based on item
- items can be dragged and dropped between spots
- items can be dragged and dropped to quickslots
- items can be dragged and dropped to a Storage in apartment
- right click items to "drop" (or add drop button) to drop them to floor
- purchased items from shops go to inventory
- inventory has medkits, ammo, weapons, armor and can store as much s there is space
- ammo comes in "clips" means like a 50/50 clip or whatever
- when you reload from a 20/50 clip it drops the half empty clip into inventory and reloads a 50/50
- you can combine multiple half empty clips to full ones
- right side top has info about the weapons like damage, ammo etc...
- right side bottom can be ignored (keys/ammo on the screenshot)

also this is a Colored quickslot Menu to put weapons in like in any RPG or MMORPG

Augmentations/Implant System purchasable at markets that add bonuses like
health
health regeneration
armor
speed
jump
damage
critical
also i wanted a FULLY Reworked Armor System,
that instead of using item_battery you can take bought items like

armor_medium_helmet

to increase the armor of the player and they degrade over time when getting hit, could be for example
1) 25% per piece and increase to 100% for 4 pieces for the WHOLE Body togetherto take even damage
2) or maybe have 75% or 100% each piece for specific location to take damage like head and when the headpiece takes to much damage it falls off and needs to be replaced etc..
also a Fried reminded me theres a Open Source mod that has about of 50 cool Weapons that some could replace ours so i downloaded the mod and made a few videos to see which ones look cool and heres few examples
