Let's get acquainted, my name is Igor Melnik and I am the developer of a modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat called Spatial Anomaly (abbreviated as SA), it's time to tell you about a project that will soon come out of the freeze. This post was created to bring you up to speed. Below is a selection of screenshots from the sequel to the Spatial Anomaly modification under development, the modification is called Spatial Anomaly 2 (abbreviated as SA2) and has absorbed all the work on the canceled Update 5 (previously, this was the name of the patch for the first part, but then I decided to abandon it and released a smaller, but final patch). What is this project about? Spatial Anomaly 2 is a direct continuation of the Spatial Anomaly modification. The sequel will show those aspects of the modifications that were forgotten in the early stages of the original concept, namely the relationships of people in the anomaly, the group's attempts to survive at any cost inside a death trap. We are the mercenary nicknamed the Beast, who fell into the clutches of a mysterious creature that forces our hero to play by its rules. A suggestion: While SA was a high quality mod the gameplay was lacking, there were very few shootouts, not much reason to loot and so on. If you can integrate more gameplay to the story this time around it would be a much better experience.

That's great to hear. Though gameplay isn't all about action and shootouts of course, I hope there will be many side-quests too. Whether simple or complicated, many people forget the importance of side-quests in these games / mods.
