TITLE: Sol Map Pack (build 10927/01)
DEVELOPERS: Frayed Wires Studios — Aaron “Marth8880” Gilbert, AQT, James “THEWULFMAN” Plummer, and Scott_W.Pilgrim
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Run SolMapPackSetup_r1_standalone.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
2. Launch Star Wars: Battlefront II and enjoy playing the first release of the Sol Map Pack!
THE STORY:
Around the summer of 2011, Marth8880 and THEWULFMAN had an idea to create a map pack whose maps are based on locations found in our Solar System, and thus the Sol Map Pack was born. Not many maps had been released during the timespan of 2011-2014, but the project was sparked back into life with the help of AQT.
MOD NOTES:
- All maps will show up in purple-colored text in the Instant Action roster.
- The Mass Effect era is only available if Mass Effect: Unification R5 is installed.
- This map pack adds 27 missions to the runtime heap if Mass Effect: Unification is installed or 20 missions if it is not.
GENERAL KNOWN ISSUES:
- Occasionally hero music won’t play at all in a single match.
- Every once and a while, if a lot of missions in a playlist have been played, a crash will occur during the loading screen of one of the maps. This issue might have some relation to Mass Effect era missions being present in the playlist, but it is ultimately unknown.
- There is a small chance that a map will have glowing terrain after loading. Restart the map in order to fix this issue.

Yes, MARS! Finally :D
How do I play these maps in the Mass Effect era? I have r5 installed but the Mass Effect era does not appear for these maps.
will and r2 pack ne ready soon?
No.
what version should i get the r2 or r1 version?
There's no R2 version out right now, and there probably won't be one.
^Exactly, at least not for a long while.
Steam compatible?
yea your right the r2 pack has to be old versions. and the r1 pack has to be new versions but i like the r1 pack better.
I hope the other maps mentioned will be on the way.
are the r2's old versions
Yes, hence "[OLD]" being in their individual names. ;) This file is the latest version of everything in the Sol Map Pack.
Yes, sun!
I tried to install this but at the end of the install it just gives me a could not execute file error.
Keep retrying the download until it works.

WOW!
Why the name of the pack is Sol? Do you talk spanish?
Because Sol is Latin for "sun". Additionally, our solar system is also known as the "Sol System," which is the setting for the maps.
I installed the mod but it won't seem to work for Mass Effect Era. Everything else is fine however. Can anyone help? it keeps giving me "FATAL: COULD NOT OPEN MISSION:LUNA/ETC"
Mass Effect: Unification R5 is installed, right? It needs to be in order for the Mass Effect era to work.
This made me create and account however i needed to do so in tthe first place. hopefully this will work
Gees this is gonna take a while to download.
and no ******* space maps !! omfg
Damn right.
How do I uninstall the maps ? Do I just delete the folder ?
Yep.
Is this compatiple with the r6.5 version of the unification mod?
Not yet, no.
Hey love the maps, but by any chance could you make the units that we play as on this map a custom side mod?
1. This works for steam, right?
2. I keep on getting a "could not execute file" error regarding flag returning, how can I fix this, if possible?
