Two Worlds a somewhat obscure RPG from 2007 had an sdk officially released by its developer. It was exclusively posted to the developer's forum and you had to register to get it. It went down many years ago. Thanks to the Two Words Discord I was able to obtain it and reupload it here to Moddb. So it will never go lost again.

Codename: Outbreak (also known as Venom. Codename: Outbreak) was an FPS created by GSC Game World before STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. It had an sdk and two custom levels produced by one of its developers in the early 2000s. It was extraordinarily hard to find as it wasn't advertised on either the game's official website, nor GSC's website. I located it on a specific website that was linked to in its community forum called Deep Shadows. I also found its 3dsmax plugins, official tutorial and two levels that were produced. They're now all preserved on moddb.

Narbacular Drop is a student project/indie game. It's most well known for being the predecessor to the game Portal. When it originally released the game had a surprisingly active modding community during its first year. The developers used Hammer to build the levels, despite the game running on an entirely custom engine.

The level editor pack and downloads of all the levels used to be available on the developer's website. However the developer's website has long fallen into disrepair and the links are now broken. I have taken the liberty of reuploading all of the levels and utilities to Moddb so they never go lost again. I really wanted to preserve this lost modding history as the vast majority of people I've spoken to had no idea the game had a modding community.

Raven software released many files for modding Soldier of Fortune 1. Most of these were reposted to fansites and I was able to find them very easily and reupload them here to Moddb. However several of these eluded me as they weren't reuploaded widely. These were source .max model files that Raven released. They released several including 3 entire fully preserved character models and their derivative files. As well as an even larger archive containing dozens of weapon, inventory and vehicle models.

I don't need to tell you how valuable it is to have these. Using these one can very easily take an existing character or weapon model and simply re-rig them to the existing skeleton/animations. Or port them to a new engine. The modding possibilities are endless. All of these have been located and have now been preserved to Moddb. Meaning they will never become lost again. Special thanks to the user 8chan on the SoF1.org site for finding these.

Rainbow Studios released several official levels for Motocross Madness 1 on their website. Almost all of these were lost for decades until I reuploaded them to moddb. However one was still missing; Custer's Last Band SE. However today I have found it and have updated my upload on moddb of the SE tracks. This means all of the officially released Rainbow Studios levels for Motocross Madness 1 are now preserved. You can find them here and here.

Special thanks to Zidane. I've now been able to convert levels from Motocross Madness 1 into other engines. I wrote a tutorial on the subject here.

I have located and mirrored all of the lost The Witcher 1 mods from CDPR's website to moddb.

I am confident in my assumption that all of The Witcher 1's custom adventures are now on Moddb. CDPR's website listed a few more but they were all included with the official 1.5 update. They are still in the latest release of the game on GOG/Steam. The only other mods I can find evidence of existing for TW1 were minor texture replacement mods or minor code mods to the base game.

I've also updated my Extra Tools archive for TW1 to include several lost utilities. I recommend checking it out.

Unfortunately TW2 has some lost mods that I doubt we'll find anytime soon. Such as The Witcher 2: Island of Convicts and Roses of Shaerrawedd. These were both uploaded to CDPR's website and were taken down when they redesigned their website and removed references to Redkit. Fortunately these mods weren't finished and were just short proof of concept demos. But regardless it would be nice to archive them. If anyone has any leads on finding them let me know.

I have located the long lost officially released Motocross Madness 1 levels. They were released by Rainbow Studios on their website and taken down more than 20 years ago. They're now available on moddb.

This means all of the officially released levels for Motocross Madness 1 have now been preserved forever.

I've been writing tutorials on how to mod the game the Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay. I've dubbed them "Riddick University". You can find all of them on moddb here. If you have any particular requests please let me know. I plan on doing a variety of subjects like enemy behavior and custom meshes eventually.

I was able to get access to the update file for the Armadillo editor for Motocross Madness 2. Now my archive of it is now fully complete with all of the officially released Rainbow Studios files for the game.
