So, after this said, I'd like you to notify me of bugs to patch them in the following versions while I work on it, I would also like you to be patient with the project because I'll be busy with other stuff, but I will be looking to make improvements at all times. If I don't die from inexplicable causes.
Well that was all the description thank you very much!
Did you know that i am still alive?
Of course, after getting my self almost dead on studies and personal stupidities, i remembered that i haved a mod that i was working on, so with a little time extra and to not feel that im a lazy f*ck i decided to work a little bit harder and get this as final results:
BEHOLD, A QUICK THROW GRENADE!
It's still barebones and can't hold it, but hey, at least i did something successful in my 3 moth hard coding programing :D (Yeah, im this awful).
Also like a plus, added a Help Cry in the mod, check it out:
All this in the new Beta Version 0.6, you can always download it on the files section. If you have some ideas you can bring to enrich more the process of this mod, you can always bring it on in the mail box or in the comments. Read the summary if you need a little bit of indeep detail about the project or some commands on the V0.6 Moddb file.
Report bugs please, thanks and have fun!
New things and stuff... Things like new weapons, new classes, new advancements, stuff.
This is the Beta version of the mod, Half-Life Steam version is required to play, you can read the instructions in the "README" text.
This is the alpha version of the mod, Half-Life Steam version is required to play, you can read the instructions in the "README" text.
Really cool idea, looking forward to giving 0.6 a shot. Good luck with the rest of the project!
This was fun
this still being worked on?
This is awesome!
Just saying, you should look into integrating this with Chicken Fortress!
Interesting idea!
Reminds me of how on some servers of the original Team Fortress for Quake that players could play through Quake's singleplayer campaign cooperatively as all the 9 classes.
nine confused mercenaries end up in new mexico during an alien invasion. they don't know what the hell is going on, but they have each other to rely on. hilarity ensues
What a cool concept! I have a few questions if you don't mind:
1. Do you have any idea of the max player count in co-op?
2. Do you know how ammo pickups will be handled? By weapon etc.
3. Will there be any sort of "survival mode" limited respawning like in Sven Co-op to keep it from being spammy and deathmatchy with constantly respawning players?
1_ The max player count will be decided by the server owner and the spawn points.
2_ The amount of ammo will variate depending on the class, and the ammo pack droped by the player will just have ammo only.
3_ I'm going to think something about it while the project keeps advancing.
Gotcha, thank you for your reply. I really would love to have a survival type mode, and hope you further consider it!
If I can ask a follow up, for #2: will these "ammo packs" (that I assume any class can pick up) be placed throughout the campaign in the same ammo/weapon spawn locations of the original Half-Life?
bots?
