will this work for doom 2 and wadsmoosh as well?
It works with Doom 2, but I dunno about wadsmoosh. It should work though.
i see there is 3 bulb files? which one to use?
Please refer to the description. The regular file is 16-bit for modern source ports like GZDoom, while the Legacy version is 8-bit for more faithful ports like CripsyDoom or Chocolate Doom.
The extras file contains extra sounds to fill in for duplicated sounds, and only works with GZDoom.
Played with WadSmoosh, can confirm it works perfectly.
Do you think you'll be covering other Doom-engine games such as Heretic, Hexen, Strife w/ voice lines, Chex Quest and Hacx? I've already sent you a PM on Doomworld, but I figured I would also post here because you haven't responded so far.
I was banned from Doomworld for some reason. Not sure how feasible those all would be, also I have other things I do in life, such as animation, 3d modelling and voice acting. Maybe some day.
I have it working on Steam DOOM 1, with the following Steam launch command options: "-iwad DOOM.WAD -file Doom_Sound_Bulb_Legacy.wad D1SPRFX20.wad -deh D1DEHFIX.DEH"... but it doesn't work on DOOM II (-iwad DOOM2.wad -file Doom_Sound_Bulb_Legacy.wad D2SPFX20.wad -deh D2DEHFIX.DEH"
