Developed by Mad Orange and inspired by the writing of Raymond Chandler, Face Noir is a point-and-click adventure set in New York City, 1934. Hello Soul0Reaper, as graspee pointed out, both games make use of the Art Deco aesthetic, if you'd like to learn more about Art Deco, you can visit the Phoenix Online tumblr, there, we have a series of Developer's Blog entries on several games including Face Noir.
This particular entry refers to the game's Art Deco aesthetic. Postudios.tumblr.com
It's because this game and Bioshock are both using the Art Deco aesthetic.
