Become the world’s first superpower and command the most incredible and vast war machine of the Ancient world. Dominate the enemies of your glorious empire by military, economic and political means.
Your rise will bring admiration from your followers but will also attract greed and jealousy, even from your closest allies.
Will betrayal strike you down, or will you be the first to turn on old friends? How much are you ready to sacrifice for your vision of Rome? Will you fight to save the Republic, or plot to rule alone as Dictator — as Emperor?
The wait is finally at an end, a journey concludes, and no sooner a new one begins! The Age of Bronze campaign update, (or 2.0 as we're calling it) is finally available to download on ModDB!
This update brings Egypt and The Hittites in as our first two playable campaign factions, complete with unique tech trees, building chains, and government actions!
Bringing the bronze age world to life is a veritable treasure trove of new art assets - stunning new event images and unit cards alongside staggering new 3D assets for characters and campaign map structures. To top it all off we have brought in a massive overhaul of unit balancing that will be visible in both custom battles and campaign battles!
This milestone has been a huge effort for our team, and we would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and patience over the last few years. Age of Bronze is the product of a small, but passionate and deeply motivated team of contributors, and the project may have ended long ago without the enthusiasm and love from our fanbase.
This is an enormous milestone and we will likely all be taking a much-needed break in the immediate aftermath of this release. However this end is simply a new beginning, and we have big plans for the future of Age of Bronze. Total War modding is a difficult and often unpredictable task, and despite our best efforts you will no doubt find many bugs and imperfections in the mod. In the coming weeks we intend to provide some post-launch support for the mod, catching the most prominent bugs and issues that you find with the game (we have no doubt there will be many).
To help with this, we've introduced a new bug reporting form in Google Forms. Please submit your bug reports and feedback through there if you are able to - every report will help us improve Age of Bronze in the future:
A great big thank you once again from all of us here on the team. Please enjoy the campaign, go forth and conquer!
We detail our upcoming campaign release coming for version 2.0, including answering commonly asked questions about it and our future plans.

Where can i download rome 2 plss i lost mine
Hi ! i would like to replace rome 2 music with custom music, how can i replace them?
Hi, I would like to know if these four aspects will be included in the next update of the "Age of Bronze" Mod specifically for the Great Campaign version:
1 Will new designs be added for the icons of the military unit cards (land and naval) of the different new playable factions?
Will new portraits and names adjusted to the Bronze Age historical period be included for (faction leaders, genealogical tree, generals and admirals) to comply with historical veracity?
3New designs for the icons of the building cards available to build in the settlements will be incorporated.
4 Will new game start dates, missions and custom banners be included for the different playable factions in the story mode of the big campaign?
Thank you very much and great encouragement with the update of this great mod
Just saw this comment now - you posted in the wrong comments section. This comment section is for Total War: ROME II, not the Age of Bronze mod. But anyway, I'll answer those questions now, even if I am a year late.
1. For now we've made temporary unit icons in the same style as the pottery artwork from the vanilla game, but we are thinking of - once we've done most of the other artwork - getting a 2D artist to do more in-period, Egyptian wall-relief styled ones to fit our new UI.
2. Yes, most definitely.
3. Yes, we already finished those new ones a few months ago for the work on the campaign.
4. We're working on one campaign at the moment which will have one start date (1500BC), so yes on that front. Missions, definitely a yes to. Custom banner 3D art is possible, but those are low-priority for now; we'll get around to doing them once the campaign is near-completion.
Let's see ... I mean, why do Rome II Total War factions (military units) speak in pure English? What instead of the languages themselves !? Please explain to me... :-\
Already answered several times, we don't have writing / pronunciation proves for every culture / faction.
Because you wouldn't have understanded a piece of frozen crap of what they would've said or how the troops would've been called.
Nothing
Not awesome lik first Rome, but still enjoyable. We can finally play as thrace faction, which is good, but unfortunatwly is a paid DLC.
