Half Life 2 Mod Critics 1 commentA newly released psychological-horror/sci-fi mod. While it has some flaws, it prevails in many, many other areas.
Short, Sweet, and to the Point: We review videogames. Long Version: We take time out of our day to find potential flaws or perfection in video-based entertainment via PC, Mac, Xbox/360, or Playstation. We judge games on Graphics, Sound, Gameplay, Playability (Replay Value), and in some cases, Originality. We use a 5 point scoring system. 1 out of 5, 2 out of 5, etc. When we want to feel like we have lives (Hehe) we review movies and such as well. Feel like a game is awesome or a load of horse scat? Tell us what you thought about it, and why you think it is that way.

A very rough HL2 mod from 2007. Some believe it to be a badly-mapped jumble of shooting, others feel it was a work of art from an earlier, simpiler age...
Using only default HL2 content and still managing to pull off absoloute win, Mission Improbable is one of the best mapped source mods out there.
Attempt to Survive is a non-combat, post-acopalyptic mod created by a Russian developer. Does the lack of combat create an artistic and interesting mod...
Mistake of Pythagoras is a classic HL2 mod released all the way back in July 2006. Is it still one of the greatest HL2 mods out there, or is it not quite...
Well, the truth is: Yatzhee plays a lot of awsome games (even the ones he doesn't like) and gets payed to trash talk about them... I wish had that job...
If you watch many of his reviwes in a row, it seems hypnitic.

Is this community dead as well D: ?
well there is a new review out. you might take a look at it.
Hell yeah!
Actually I don't recommend ANY critic to follow the path of Yahtzee (from the Zero punctuation) Although I enjoyed some of his videos, he is so aggressive that he is like a troll who became famous.
He almost totally emphasis on the bad things, that what is bad about the game. I, the innocent gamer just bought Dragon age: Origins (I did not actually, never played it, just for the example) for a lots of money, I have quite enjoyed it, but here comes this guy and says that the game is not good. didn't meet his high expectation, it's a copy of previous rpg-games, etc. etc. Now I feel bad about the whole thing because the 90-100 point reviews don't say anything to me, one guy with an aggressive review and (uhhh, shiny) animation makes higher impact on me.
He shouldn't be praised, yes, he is honest sometimes, but most of the times: just nit-picking.
Be honest, be original, but don't ruin everybody's fun with your 1/4-reviewing 3/4-trolling criticism.
Id say his reviews are more half and half. But yes, he definately has some troll-ish effects and certainly doesnt praise games. Except for Portal lol.
He has guts to insult many games and tell the truth right in the fanboys faces !
I will always agree with his reviews of Mario games. Always. anyway, most of the time I listen to his reviews to lighten my spirits, and his review do not affect my choice to buy a game or play it in any way. That is just me.
