Italian. I am a Visual Basic programmer. Great PC gamer. My favourites genres are FPS and RTS. I modded (or better, modified) some games such as AoE II (some new units, such as Atomic Cannon, automatic rifles for Janissaries and Cannoneers and also repeatedly shooting cannon towers and ships), Crysis (added my personal Y Corporation Mod's soldiers and vehicles textures and modified some guns), Faces of War, Men of War (Assault Squad too) (added my personal faction "Y Corporation", like in Crysis with new units and vehicles, looking like my Crysis's Y Corporation Mod) and Need for Speed Most Wanted (personalized cop cars logo).

Description

Hi. I've found a "little bug" in "Men of War: Assault Squad".
The bug reveals its effect with the time: on my PC the game runs perfectly... but after two months of hard play, I've noticed a "non-normal" lag of time when I select/deselect my units (in the game and in the editor too).
The problem?
The "settings.set" file in the personal game account folder. Each time you run the game/editor, the file will be filled with some lines in the "panel_control_front" section". A little number of these lines doesn't cause problems... but if you wait and don't cancel them... the game will have a progressive lag of time when you select or deselect your units and vehicles.

Solution!?
Open the "settings.set" file with the Notepad and remove all the lines (as shown in the image) until to obtain the "Normal" condition I've posetd. I remind you to delete only the lines between these voices:

{panel_control_front

}

A further advice: make a backup copy of the original file before to modify it.
