Thank you for creating this mod and keeping on polishing and improving it!
It's not a bug, but a feature built-in withing Call of Chernobyl. It checks Windows' registry to see if you possess a legitimate copy of Call of Pripyat. You should always launch Last Day by using one of the .cmd files, more specifically the one corresponding to the number of cores in your CPU. If that doesn't work too, create a link to the game's exe and add -skip_reg to the link's destination path.
MLR is compatible only with version 1.4.22 stable of Call of Chernobyl. No other version is currently supported
No, it's a mod for CoC 1.4.22
You're welcome guys, enjoy the mod!
Just read the translation's description, you can find everything there
Yes, MLR is incompatible with any other addon.
Which flashlight bug are you referring to?
OH YEAH MY BODY IS READY
Please refrain from adding addons to MLR without the proper compatibility patches (if existant), they might cause serious instability and crashes.
A custom version of STCoP is already included in the mod.
Grab a cheap shotgun, some buckshots and go hunt boars and fleshes; buckshot is not that expensive, and you can make some nice profit out of selling meats and hides.
If you can, grab a multi fuel stove and a jerrycan, then cook the meat, it will keep you nice and fed, and cooked meat has quite a higher value compared to raw one.
Look around for stashes, those are not too hard to find, in misery every bit helps.
Try not to spend money on repair kits; instead, try to dismantle other weapons and armor to repair yours.
Try to play with an opportunistic approach, like a carrion bird; look for conflicts between factions or stalkers vs mutants, and once everything settles down, make a run for it and loot as much bodies as you can.
Good luck mate!
Sadly I have no clue about what could be causing it. It's the first time I've ever seen that error; I'll let you know if we find something that could fix it.
Yeah I remember this feature from OGSE, sometimes it could even kill you.
Does this crash happen with Call of Chernobyl aswell?
It seems like you haven't installed the mod correctly.
Start with a fresh CoC installation, version 1.4.12; after that install patch 1.4.16; then install Call of Misery, version 1.0d fix2.
Once you have done this, you can install the Last Day mod on top of CoM. Start by downloading and installing Last Day, then add the last day fix, and then add our translation. You can find all the necessary files in the mod's description.
Remember not to install any mod together with Last Day, the majority are all incompatible with it.
Hello there! Thanks again for this awesome mod! I think I have encountered a bug: I started a new game in 1.5b r3 as a loner; spawned in the Bar, check my inventory... I had a Tunder S14 with 60 rounds as a starting weapon! I think this is not supposed to happen, we should have only handguns with stock ammo as starting weapons right? Or am I mistaken?
You might try to install the SWTC mod for CoC, then install the sunrays addon for it.
Winmerge might be useful in this kind of situation
Just to avoid suffering too much, is it reasonable to expect MISERY 2.2 to be released before Christmas?
This is wonderful! Maybe when it's done you'll consider porting it to Call of Chernobyl?
How's the upcoming patch progressing?
How's the developement going on? I'm really looking forward to this one!
No one knows sadly, they probably want to squish as many bugs as possible
If you scrounge around the internet you can find Windows 7 x64 bit serial keys for around 15€; it's quite worth upgrading.
Yes it will almost certainly require a new game.
There's actually a moddb page dedicated to Call of Misery with all the stuff needed to play it. Moddb.com
That's some quality changelog! Looking forward to the new patch
