I think I was questioning why having both lava and volcanic planets, I mean on Ice Planets you only need cold shielded architecture but volcanic ones need to resist the high temperatures.
Found it in a way realistic to be uncolonisable before and wonder what led to the change of introducing lava and have both a colonisable and uncolonisable hot planets.
I always get audio stutter in vanilla RM randomly but reoccurringly.

I was thinking about something, you know the degree of planets that are not colonisable reduces if you make volcanic planets colonisable and add lava planets as the non colonisable variant, do you get desired results?

Biggest thing being 3d character and enemy models because the original game only used sprites. As well as being able to aim up and down as well.
For the purpose of deciding AI factions do you think it's a good idea to add them as racial choices? you could substract the faction selection cost from the starting funds.
I'm not too familiar with the ME universe, but is it the case that the races themselves lack enough ship variety to even become their own playable ingame factions?
If we look at Reapers I never saw them with enough ship variety, in fact I can't recall seeing any faction with enough ship variety by themselves, I have a doubt about Quarians where at least you had glimpses of their full armada.

I suppose it doesn't harm to have the backlog of uploaded versions here for completed uploads without errors.
With how often updates come I wonder if I should ever wait a few updates until I update the game I play, you have added a new doctrine and now you're making further adjustments so maybe now is a good time to play the new version since before you added the new doctrine.
I don't suppose you have a good way to suggest when to update to the next version in the future in the sense of skipping a version or a few in between updates to choose.
How keen would you be for making an offshoot mod where your factions are added to the base game as additional faction choices to choose in between.
I think you now have 2 added factions per race which is enough to create another page akin to choosing between Loyalists and rebels for each race in Rebellion.
