Well, duh. I've seen that's actually Duke's pasive. So, another idea: "A Ninja knows no fear!": Chance (for example 15-20%) for any damage recieved to be halved. Stacks with armor.
And if you're planning to add Blaskowicz:
Active - "Dual Wield": Exactly as it says on the tin, as in new Wolfenstein iterations and QC
Passive - "Terror Billy": Blasko scares enemies to death. That means they move (slightly) slower and deal (slightly) less damage if they're close to B.J.
Passive - "Better than accupuncture!": Health items give extra health
Active - "Everybody dead. I like that.": The classic SW nuke. Big blast radius, area around explosion becomes poisonous for a while.
This series are some of the very best levels I've ever played. Ep 3 can't come soon enough.
Nevermind, it was a GZdoom issue. Getting the latest SVN build fixed the issue.

To clarify, I refer to the ones with red eyes that fire red hitscan stuff.
It seems that in the latest test version (1-21-18) everytime an Elite Arachnotron fires, GZdoom just freezes. Anyone else encountering this issue?
I've been trying the 3.0 beta, here's some impressions.
- I'm loving the new HMG. Pinning imps and zombies to the wall isn't going to get old anytime soon.
- I kinda prefer the single shot GL to the Excavator. Maybe it's a matter of getting used to it.
- The only new monster I've seen so far is that new eyeless imp variant. A few more new enemies would be great, though.
Of course, it's one of those movies you have to see at least once in your life.
Music doesn't play at all for me. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the PB 3.0 beta or with GZdoom, though.
Thanks a lot mate, I've been having this annoying visual bug where some weapon sprites would disappear after firing a few M79 rounds and this finally fixed it.
Time to give those demons some of that good 'ol Vietnam goodness!
First of all, great job with PB. It's a blast to play.
I'd say removing the HE GL altogether would be a bad idea. It has great around-the-corner potential, and coupled with the fragmentation rounds it makes mincemeat of most enemies in cramped areas. And for people that do not like it, there's always the option to disable it or at least make it permanently replaced by the Super Grenade Launcher.
The rest sounds mighty cool. I can't wait!
Lo Wang is in an addon pack. Look for servers using Samsara in Doomseeker, most of them use the addons.
He is indeed in there. Zandronum only allows up to 7 classes to appear in the main menu, because limitations of it's engine. To select him, start a game with any character, spectate, and rejoin. You'll be able to select Ranger there.
Try Doomseeker, you can get it at Zandronum's homepage. Most Samsara servers have the addons included. These are the characters included:
Caleb (Blood)
I.P. Freeley (Rise of the Triad)
Blake Stone (Blake Stone, duh)
Strifeguy (he's in alpha state, but playable)
Doom64 Guy
Eleena (Eradicator, also in alpha)
