Here is Awaken Walkthrough, this is the mod a 20 years old in 2004-2024 and it looks great. Xash and steam are strongly compatible, there ya go!

Pretty badly balanced on Hard but otherwise a fun, simplistic romp!
One of the best mods i've played, Can be challenging in some area's if you rush in with gun's blazing!
That was pretty good.
But the number of the female assassins in the one part was ridiculous.
There was also one bug in the blue room with barney asking for someone with retinal clearance, no door opened.

I am glad you unearthed this lost mod, it's action packed, the play length is decent and the maps have that old school feel to them, very nice work for a then 16 year old :)
Makes me wonder about other works lost to time.
