Blood on the Nile is a planned massive overhaul mod for Medieval II: Total War that will focus primarily on the violent conflicts in Egypt and the Sudan during the twilight years of the Victorian Era. The campaign, as is currently planned, is expected to start in July of 1882 just after the British bombardment and seizure of Alexandria and to end in January 1899 following the final defeat of Mahdist forces at Omdurman and Umm Diwaykarat in the Sudan. I am sorry to say that at this moment this is all just an idea in my head. I am a historian by trade and have no experience with modding games at all. This is why I am issuing a call to arms and ask anyone who thinks that they might be interested in helping to develop this mod step forward and form a team! If you are interested in helping out please get in touch with me here on Moddb. I hope to set up an official email in the future for this project and related inquiries. I am open to any and all questions, comments, and concerns.
