Finally finished up some things and such like improving the Generals Challenge maps for the Ivory Specters. (i'll have to do it again with when i make the Vanilla Ivory Specters.) I need to get to work on more maps for this mod!
DISCLAIMER: THIS MOD IS STILL A WIP, EXPECT BUGS OR OTHER THINGS HERE.
THERE IS NO SKIRMISH AI FOR THIS NEW FACTION, SO DON'T CHOOSE THEM IN SKIRMISH AS AN OPPONENT THINKING THEY'LL WORK!!! I MAY MAKE A SEPARATE MOD FOR THAT IN THE FUTURE CUZ I NEED TO REPLACE A FACTION FOR A SKIRMISH AI TO WORK, AND IM NOT AXING THE CIVILIAN FACTION.
PLEASE NOTE: This mod was mostly meant for PVE, but PVP could be possible with this mod. It may not be recommended, but I would love to see some gameplay footage on it!
DISCLAIMER: before you go whining to me that the Ivory Specters faction is too OP, thats kinda their purpose tbh. As this game is mostly PVE focused. Game balancing isn't my strong suit, and this mod was for my personal use ONLY to make the game more fun for me, but i felt generous and decided to give it out to the public to see what they think about it. You're free to decompile the mod and make balance changes as you see fit, BUT, i wouldn't recommend that if you wanna play online with others in this mod.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
Extract the Data, Maps, and Art folders, plus the ControlBarPro BIG files, into your main C&C Generals Zero Hour Directory, as well as the Install_Final.bmp. Don't forget to install the custom font Romonov.ttf file for the new hud font to show up too.
Oh and don't forget to back up those folders and Install_Final.bmp you're about to replace too as precaution due to the mod files not being big files yet. There is no launcher for this mod as well since i have no idea how to make one for it.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THE IVORY SPECTERS???
ALL Generals Challenge maps are compatible with the Ivory Specters. Plus the maps have been altered too to make playing on them more fun on harder difficulties. You may find some hidden eastereggs and secrets within the somewhat revamped GC maps, a time-traveling nuclear companion will sometimes lend you his aid in the battles!
I decided to leave the vanilla zero hour campaigns intact and still playable, nothing much needs to be changed there unless i want to make those maps prettier, fix up some issues, add easterggs, or give them some more civilian stuff.
Someday in the future, i'll make an official campaign map pack for this mod to supplement that as i've tried numerous times and failed to do that via through the menu and replacing and editing maps, so i'll make it being in the skirmish menu as maps you can add to your game.
Anyway there could be some easter-eggs here and there in some voice lines i took from other games that sounded perfect for an RTS unit, as well as guest appearances of my own shitty voice for some voices of units, a major one being the Ivory Specter "Hero Unit", Doug White. (Should change his voice sometime... sounds cringe.)

Global Ivory Specter Faction changes:
- - Added a new unit to the future Vanilla Ivory Specters; The Seal.
- - Basically you're bog-standard commando unit, can plant bombs and really mess up enemy infantry and stuff. Comes with a nostalgic voice set. (It's not from RA2 tho!)
- - Altered commandset button placement on several units to make sure the buttons line up correctly when selecting multiple units of that type or other types.
- - Actually altered the exp kill gains and exp levels of the Faction's basic Partisan/Footman, Stinger Soldier, and engineer. So they take longer to promote and give out alot more exp to the enemy
- - Ivory Specter Engineers no longer gain veterancy for capturing buildings. Should make same change with American Engineers later.
\-{Ivory Airforce}-/
- - Altered the Rocket Pod weapon attributes somewhat, same attributes goes to all USA Comanches.
- - Rockets spread more erratically instead of having a predtermined path coding and fixes the issue of some of the rockets in the salvo not scattering.
\-{Ivory Groundforce}-/
- - Removed the Flametrooper's ability to create flame walls since they didn't work properly on the Ivory Groundforce Flame Trooper.
- - Slowed the rate of fire of the Groundforce Partisan's upgrade rifle to one shot per second
- - Slightly slowed the Groundforce Partisan's Shotgun weapon too from 1850 Msec to 1950 Msec
\-{Ivory Specialforce}-/
- - Made it so Attack Cycles can have weapon bonuses for AP bullets too for their guns as well as AP Rockets.
- - Nerfed the Specialforce Partisan's Grenade luancher to fire only one grenade when it has not promoted to upgrade it. it fires 2 shots when Elite and 3 shots when heroic.
- - Also made the Specialforce Partisan's Grenade luancher locked behind an upgrade costing 4500 in the Barracks. Although if it is reaching Elite and Heroic Veterancy, it unlocks the weapon automatically, i can't find a work-around for this.
- - Changed the Button image of the grenade luancher weapon switch.
- - Made it so veteran Snipers have red tracers when attacking as Hero veterancy
- - Nerfed the Mortar Infantry's weapon's range

- - Fixed Laser Paladin not having attack voice lines due to a typo in coding
||---OTHER GAME CHANGES AND ADDITIONS---||
- - Added new Tech Building: Tech Warfactory
- - The Tech Warfactory's job is to let any faction thats not the Specters, build Ivory Specters-aligned vehicles that were exclusive to them. Or if you're not one subfaction of the Specters, build other units of the other subfactions!
- - Added tech warfactories in all GC maps.
- - Sadly Skirmish AI won't be able to use this tech building at all since i can't get AI to build from it.
- - Fixed up Generals Challenge maps of Super Weapon general and the Boss General for Ivory Specter Unit recongtion, and some other changes.
- - Added a few new things to the Nuke General's map.
- - In the Super Weapon general's map, Blow up the two patriot turrets on the north-west of the map near your base and you'll get something special in return! :D If i managed to code it properly...
- - Edited the starting base area of the Chemical General's GC map.
- - Added easteregg where you get to utilize the new Ivory Specter Seal infantry in the boss Gen Challenge map, just look for a small camp site of footmen or garrisoned tents.
- - Altered sound levels of some weapon fire fx.
