looks like a good mod
Cool! I have been desperately looking for good medieval/dark fantasy-themed Doom mapsets to play with Captain J's excellent GMOTA mod; his mod is not compatible with Heretic and Hexen, and I still cannot believe there has yet to be a full port of Heretic's levels to Doom...
The custom monsters might be a problem, but I guess I can always replace them with vanilla ones in SLADE myself if you do not feel like releasing a vanilla-compatible version.
Hi thanks for your interest! If you want a vanilla version I do a have a demo of E1M1 that uses entirely vanilla resources, no custom monsters or textures. But that also means it loses its dark fantasy element.
As I said, my issue is with custom monsters, and only because they can cause compatibility issues with gameplay mods like GMOTA. I love the textures and even the Hexen monsters because, like I said, I have been looking for dark fantasy Doom mapsets to play the mod with.
Now, I tested the demo with the mod and it did not notice any problem, so hopefully the same will go for the full mapset! :D
