This mod adds 5 new factions to the native game, each one with their particularities. Elephants, Gunpowder and Repeating Crossbows have been added. - Braetynian Kingdom : Brittany / Britain inspired, with fierce warriors like Heavy Knights, Berserkers and Saboteurs (GP) - Sudestrian Kingdom : Byzantine inspired, with the best Gunpowder Units (Musketeers, Harquebusiers), Cataphracts and Legionnaires - Empire of Xothay : Japan/China inspired, with Hatamotos (Elite Infantry with a Pistol), Samuraï and Chukonus (Repeating Crossbow) - Phoessanid Empire : India inspired, with Cornacs (Elephants), Meharists (Camels) and Harquebusiers (GP) - Jumne Realm : Nord's Northern Rivals, with Drengr (Heavy Elite Infantry) and the best light cavalry. This mod is based on Tocan's Calradia and consequently includes most of its elements, including the Dark Knights invasion (gunpowder advised ;-) )

One of the best mod to mount and blade: warband. I love changes like less hunger or more factions, but I miss a faction that is bent on a slave society (however it sounds...).

Very cool, very smooth mod. Horse archery is somehow 10x more fun in this mod than in native. The Braetynia troops are nuanced yet still very English-inspired which is cool.

I like the mod and the content quite a bit, however do have some issues:
there are certain items that, due to pricing+power, are simply a bit overly powerful compared to base game content. that added to the fact arena rewards are greatly increased is quite strong for early game gearing up. It's not quite game breaking levels of power or anything, but it's definitely strong, for specific examples: black samurai armor. It has defense slightly above plate (1 more body defense), has an encumbrance of 3, and it's half the price. Gnezdovo helms have defense similar to great winged helms at a fraction of the price. pigface bascinets have defense about equal to great helms, and less encumbrance at a fraction of the price.
My second issue is that I experience quite a bit of performance issues in the overland map, and on the battlefield certain armor appears as incandescent glowing white sillhouttes at any distance where ranged units are practical. The glowing seems to only happen at night though, I'm not 100% certain of the cause.
My only other issue is minor, and that's that the dialogue of most of the custom companion characters seems ai generated, or it seems like the mod author has very little experience writing dialogue, which, I can understand, most people don't.
regarding the last part: I'll actually offer to help out with that if you would like some help, my discord is @justafloofyboi if the offer interests you any. I've done a decent bit of fantasy writing for ttrpg games I've ran, so could touch up existing dialogue to make it less glaringly "no one talks like this, an ai wrote this".

these aren't massive issues by any means however, and the mod is still a great expansion, with a lot of content that adds an interesting layer to the base game. if my hardware was better I'd probably not even have some of the issues (specs: 1050ti laptop gpu, i5 10300h cpu)

Edit: I forgot this because it rarely happens (combat on ships is uncommon thankfully) but when the player participates in ship battles while enlisted in a nobles army, (on my game) all units are hostile, including the ones that should be your allies.

Excellent Mod.
One of the best mods in Calradia, I have played so far. It adds to Vanilla almost seemlessly. You barely feel a difference between the Vanilla content and that, which was added with the mod. And if you feel it, mostly for the better. It is fun to play, supports several different playstyles and has only very few bugs (as far as I can say after roughly 15 hours of playing).

To give a rough description with my own word.
This mod adds 5 new factions to the original factions. Like the old ones, each of the new ones have their distinct style and strenght on the battlefield.
Also, this mod adds a bunch of useful features (enlist in another army, plan your commands ahead of battle, several more unique characters, ...).

The only downside for me were several details with some of the new factions.
First of all, I find that they all have significate (and unbalanced) advantages compared to the old factions. In short: the old factions now all share several more borders, while the new border factions have "their back secure". That is not fair, the new factions should have at least be smaller or weaker in other respect.
Second: while I find the eastern factions very unique (resembling India or China/Japan), I have trouble in various degrees with the others. Ok, the Sudestrians have firearms, that is special. But the new northern faction resembles too much the Nords.

Best mod for warband in my opinion.
