Originally starting development as a mod for MMOD: Episode 2 and aiming to bring new models, features and fix as many MMOD bugs as possible, Rebuild was quite a promising project, but Gunship_MK_II refused to give us any of the MMOD source code, so we decided to break away from MMOD completely (except for particles and sounds).

So now we're developing Rebuild on our own, custom-coded base with new features, take a look at them:

- Run and Walk animations for all weapons,

- Multiple inspect animations for all weapons,

- Full and Partial reload animations for all weapons,

- Ironsight animations for all weapons,

- New models, textures and animations for all weapons,

- New weapons (the AR3, the Gauss and the Stunstick).

So long story short, Rebuild is basically performance-friendly MMOD for potato PCs and laptops.

The release date is getting closer and closer, being December 24th 2024 (Tau Guy's birthday), so stay tuned!

Alright, this is VERY controversial and allat, but now it's no longer MMOD: Rebuild, but HL2: Rebuild.

And you may ask yourself: well, how did we get here?

The story started around a month ago, when Tau Guy asked Gunship MK.II for the MMOD source code, but he said "anyone can create an MMOD copy in 2-3 days" (why did he make mmod for 5 years then?), we were very disappointed, but then we decided to ask him for the weapons' source code, and the only thing he gave us was... the beta tau cannon .cpp file... (not even from mmod, just from the leak) and we were... very disappointed to say the least. So then we decided to switch to AquaOfficial's HL2:MODERN WARFARE sdk and rebrand the mod.

There isn't much else to say, but expect new stuff soon!

Will the the AR3 and the Tau Cannon be implented in the same way as MMOD? I certainly hope not. You can't even use them for most of the latar half of the game (aleast for the tau cannon) and the way to refill ammo feels very unpolished.

Have you knew Mmod's original developer? Don't want to go far, but I want your proposal to be on original Mmod.
