It keeps on crashing whenever I play a new game. I was able to play the beginning part but now I cant start a new game.
If you're having C++ crashes, turn on Load Textures on Demand located in the launcher and lower texture details or battle size until you are stable. For Screenshots/videos I use 100% Textures at 240 battle size with Battle Advantage Off in Camp > Game Settings. Otherwise feel free to run 50-75% at 378.
You can also try to go into your C:\Users\User\Documents\Mount&Blade; Warband folder and open up rgl_config and change buffer size from 15 to like 1000
You can also try to install the 4GB patcher for Warband (not distributed by us)
Thank you. Its working now... My problem now is, I can't complete "Hunt Sectarian" mission given by Priestess Khivachis because there is no option to attack them. Whenever I talk to them, the dialogue says to "let them be." I'm not sure if its the same with other players.
This is dont help! Crash more and more often. M&B version 1.174, 160 battle size, buffer size 3900. PC Ryzen 7 3700X, Radeon 6800XT, 32GB RAM.I calculated that crashes when exceeding RAM of 3700MB. Patcher dont work with M&B!
No bro you didnt understand, the creator told you to put the buffer size to MAX 1000, dont go over otherwise the game gets rlg crashes, for mine the optimal number for the optimal settings is 50, ive tryed multiple setups and that gets no error or crashes for a looong time ( and my pc rig is quite old so ) keep the values for the buffer between 15 / 250 and the setups like EmpressTofu told in the comment and everyone should enjoy this masterpiece meaty mod nearly without crashes or blocks.

some textures seem to be missing or not connected to the corresponding armor, when looking at armors in reference materials i got a lot of error messages from textures missing
This is normal. When looking through this many items it overloads the memory limit of Warband which causes those issues. There's nothing we can do on our side. You have to lower texture details on your end to try and fix this problem.
some armors in craft an armor causes the game to crash when selected
I noticed this so I tried reducing the texture details while I was chose the textures for the armor and everything was fine. So I created the armor, increased texture details and when I was trying to put on the armor it crashed again. It could have been a coincidence so tried again and got the same results. I think that the crafted armor might require more memory than the normal armor. Had a couple of crafted armor in my inventory about 3~5. Guess that triggered the crash. Have a 8G RAM with a crappy cpu and graphics so people who have something better probably won't have this problem.
Hi, so far great, but I want to repair a looted village, where can I get the 3 sets of wood? Can't seem to find them in towns or special vendors. Cheers!

Hi. Thanks for this awesome update... You might want to look at Player mercenary troops: I mean Hired troops and Household troops. I can only change their outfits once. When I got better armor, I intend to update my household troops armor but I cant do it anymore. Is this intentional?
Same, it also applies to hired troops - change equipment button is available only once per unit.
I played 1.4.2 version of the game.
Until this is updated, I think the best strategy is to decide in advance what outfit to give them and have them ready before changing the items of hired troops.

Hi, I'm not sure if I did something wrong? I'm doing this quest to capture some Mosuro troops for Forde mission but I can't battle with the Mosuro. I checked my notes and it tells me to "again" talk to a strange figure in Forde so I did again. But it tells me "he's busy."
I solved this now. I kept talking to the Mosuro troops and attempted to attack until my relation drops to negative. That's when the option to do battle came out.
Very nice update will we see the shield bash in the far future ? I know it has low priority but still i would LOVE to see it again.

you should bring back original household guard recruit method, newer method made me can't prepare well for zann invasion because it took some time just for recruit hundred of them

This might be a very stupid question, but here goes: How the heck can I do a warcry during battle? I can't seem to figure it out, and there is no configured button for it, that I can locate in the controls section of options menu...

I wish you would turn back the option to divorce spouse in your next update. I tried it before and it was quite fun and it adds a good strategy for adding more vassals.

If you excuse me, I'd like to ask a small question.
If an archer is supposed to carry 2 packs of arrows (cos troop trees menue and troop's inventory show so), does he really carry these 2 packs of arrows into battle? Because from how fast do my archers run out of ammo, I have some doubt if it works properly. Or maybe I'm simply wrong.
I mean, it looks like some of the same Tolranian Archers (just as an example) have 2 packs of arrows, and some others only 1. Is it possible?
