The End Of Days is a freeware modification for Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. Our mod adds a new playable faction - Russia, and greatly improves the original three with new units, structures and special powers!
The main aim of the mod is to bring an authentic real war feeling, with a few fictional additions for more fun and diverse gameplay & tactics! Fight M1A2 Abrams Tanks or T-14 Armata Tanks with your Overlord Tanks supported by Z-19 Attack Helicopters!
The End Of Days greatly changes the gameplay of the original Generals Zero Hour by removing Heroes and Superweapons in their traditional role. Hero Units are now replaced with elite infantry, and Superweapons are mostly presented as mobile ICBM Launchers like Russia's Topol-M or China's DF-41.
Another great feature is the ability to purchase a subfaction at your tech center, replacing the original choice of "Generals" prior to battle, which allows you to change your strategy mid-game to counter your opponents! Each of the 4 factions have 3 completely different subfactions to choose from!
With the air units being much stronger than in Zero Hour, a completely new unique feature is introduced for all factions: Long Range Anti-Air Missile Systems. These are a more advanced version of stationary Anti-Air defenses, which provide incredible protection from your enemy's air power!
Many more modern units from real-life armies are at your disposal as well. Go on and find it all out by yourself!

And regarding the Iranian units, is it possible to add some of them to the gla team, such as some tactical and ballistic missiles and suicide drones, Shahid 136 and... is it possible? Thanks a lot

GLA is very finished, maybe for final version we can add something or change existing, but not much.

Hello! This mod is absolutely amazing! Let's start with that.
For multiplayer, my brother and me wanted to run together against the AI, but we only start with 10,000 and they clear far more in the same time. I can play this solo, but I start with 50,000. How do I up the multiplayer cash so we can get through the first wave? Sorry if it's an old question, went through many pages of old stuff and didn't see the question.
We play in online mode, not over vpn

Will give it a try for sure, in the mean time, just set two of the desired army's against each other, and by the time they finish themselves off, you are basically in the same spot you would have been solo with money :D
Awesome mod, just played it for two hours with my bro, he went Army tanks, I went Army air force, marched all over the GLA. Fantastic mod! This afternoon was the best time I've had in an rts to date!
I hope you guys change the AI of the enemy or ally to have more infantry troops prepared for combat, I honestly don't like to ALWAYS have vehicles to bust rather than some squads of infantries...
AI is good as it is now, slightly improved for upcoming new version, but don't expect more infantry.
Actually posted this a few months back but would love to see additions for the US Airforce General. It would be great if the A-10 and F-117 are replaced with F-15EX and F-35A. F-15EX would be the primary tank killer with cluster bombs to take out multiple ground units whereas the F-35A with precision guided bunkerbuster munitions. The rest are fine. F-22A as the multirole AG and AA fighter and the B-21 Raider as the bigger, badder and substantially more powerful version of the F-117. As for the helicopter, Blackhawk and AH-64E Guardian is fine but it would be better to replace the Comanche with say AH-1Z Viper. Also, please bring back the classic Patriot missile defence system. The machine gun post and firebase with CIWS and mortar and the THAAD system is OK. As for the Russian Airforce General, MiG-29 and SU-30 as basic units and SU-35 and SU-57 as Tier 1 units.
Thank you, but we can't do that for various reasons, first we have our concept done and working well. Of course we are keeping on improving current unit stats and upgrades, but we can't fully replace so many units.

It is OK. Since I am a US Airforce General fan, I just wanted to give my ideas on how to make it closest to the real outside world. We have plenty of General gamers in here who can contribute their ideas. Anyway, it is always a pleasure to play your mod and I look forward to the future improved patches.

I find this post pretty ridicilous.
You come here and post a full list of demands on a huge amount of units in this mod that should be changed and replaced.
Heres an idea for you, how about you make your own mod and put those units in?
no no don;t take it like that, I'm sure he wasn't demanding, he was suggesting or sharing ideas, even once I've sent him a private message regarding the F-35 and made my self clear that I didn't wan to intrigue in his plans. It's that Alexei made such a great RTS mod that nobody came close to this idea, either they make it without base building like Broken Arrow or makes it futuristic or childish looking whilst Alexei managed to hit all the points, the only set back is that the game egnine is limited and old and also he's doing it since he is also a fan of modern RTS.
Heck, my wishlist would be that he makes this game in a large scale like Supreme Commander with Navy as well but I'm happy with what he's giving us and it's free as well. If Alexei would create a kickstarter or patreon to remake this game again on a larger scale without limitations, I would pay him for sure, Supreme Commander: The End of Days.

:O since you mentioned this, these questions have to come out: which game will be modded or if will it be a new game from scratch?
Will it be base building and big as SupCom or same as CnC but on a more modern engine?
Will it be modern RTS or totally different idea?
I wish to be close to old classical RTS on a new engine. I don't plan to modify other game, but starting something from scratch. But not sure I can succeed without help.

:/ maybe LibkedIn may help to find developers. Maybe AI can take a load off of your back, code generation/correction or model import from CnC to new engine. I'm guessing but with all this AI I think there are things that can help you. Extra hands is always better though. Or put up a video like marketing calling for addiotnal hands to help with the project. From your work I started wishing that I picked that road in developing but it may take years to learn if I start now :/
It's very hard to learn programing on a level to build rts game, especially on my age, 40...
I'm 34 and I don't know anything, at 40 and knowing how to do these things is impressive for me. Heck, other companies are younger and being paid and still can't get a game right.
