Once again, I humbly thank you all for your kind support. your support was the only thing that could make our team feel better after all the disaster that we have been through.
I also thank dear Admin Seamus for taking his time and replying to our messages and considering our requests.
It's very unfortunate and sad that there is no way but to delete Eldar's content, it seems like since it wasn't a paid job ( as our project is a volunteer based one ) he can demand his stuff back which is such a weird rule but we have to accept and obey that as it's a rule. Since an important part of his work was related to scripts, the mod will be terribly broken if we delete them and it will be no different than starting over and over again from the scratch.
It seems like this timeline/era is really cursed. Victorian Era was not only my dream, in fact we all shared the same dream and that was playing and having a SP mod set in the Victorian timeline for M&B Warband.
In the end of the story, they won the files and could stop us, but we won something which is thousands of times more valuable, we won your kind hearts and it's something that will be carved in our memory and heart forever. And aside of that, we all learnt many things from the recent conflicts. And these lessons will surely guide us through the path to our future life.
Our pre-alpha version will be deleted from Moddb within 24 hours and our official Alpha version will be released on our discord server in a week or sooner so you will be able to give it a try.
We will also prepare a Victorian package of the military units of the late 19th century as a zip file ( all the historical images collected in #historical_research_channel on our discord server).
Once again, I thank you for your support, patience, assistance and everything. I also thank our dear team members who helped our project in our tough and long journey.

The mod will no longer be developed ?! But if there is no further development, continue to develop the mod further! Well, let this Eldar / Eldar develop something, but you need to continue the development of the mod! After all, to see a mod about the Victorian era is the dream of many (my dream too), you have the perfect mod, and I and my friends believe in you that you can do without Eldar! Hey Eldar, if you demand money from a community that is based on a hobby, because they love what they do and they choose to provide their work to the people that REALLY appreciate and give credit, then why don't you get a real job since you think you got skills and they need to be paid for?
This was a real dirty thing to do, blackmailing people that really deserve our hearts for what they do!!!
Anyway, I think the blame goes to the modders that accepted this situation from the first place, "If there is a different, weak link in the chain, this link will make the chain brake at some point!" NEVER accept people in a free mod that are walking on a different path!

I hope you understood your mistake (plural), if you take this path when recruiting and gather a dedicated team, you make sure the stuff stays with the mod and you don't demand your stuff back... This isn't YOUR stuff it is the Mod's stuff!
When you are a dedicated team member from the beginning, you inform him/her that IF, at a point, he/she desides to leave, his/her stuff remains in the mod so someone capable to continue from the point it stopped developing...
Anyway, a very old and painfull story...

I can't promise that now, but I do really hope we will have a chance to continue the work in the near future.
I really hope you continue work on this mod; frankly, this mod keeps me coming to check on the ModDB Warband modding scene. It's the only mod that covers this era and has a very unique and beautiful art direction as well that makes the scenes truly stand out. Keep up the good work!

Honestly it feels really scummy that someone can do stuff like that, you shouldn't be able to retroactively not allow the usage of content after integrating it in such a way that it destroys the content

Very very sad to hear... It's like you said, the era is cursed. Whenever we get something victorian, it just dies out.
In the future you could maybe focus on making a mod for Bannerlord, since Warband is dying anyways.

Because they don't upload their moddb version the truth is a very good mod. It would be a shame that the mod does not go up enough.
This is truly heartbreaking. Eldar why would you do this to us? i dont know your reasons but i cant help but fell that you not only betrayed your team but the hopes of thousands and thousands of fan. This mod was i believe to most, the most anticipated mod in the history of warband and some even claim that this is much better than bannerlord. I do not wish to say ill words to you eldar as you might have your reasons behind the scences but i am truly dissapointed. 2020 is bad as it is..to me personally, the death of this mod makes it worse..
