The night began to fall, you awaken in the middle of the forest. You were just on the trail before, your head isn't clear. A town is nearby, it would be best to find sanctuary there before you freeze in the dark. As you approach the town, you can't get this feeling off of you. The only word you can think of to describe it is "omnipresent"... Town of Madness" is a 1920's psychological survival horror mod. You are a hunter that has to find whatever he can to survive this settlement turned into a living hell. The mod takes inspiration from Cry of Fear, Afraid of Monsters, Condemned: Criminal Origins, the works of H.P. Lovecraft, and Receiver 2. The mod features more advanced gameplay compared to its predecessor, having minimal hud elements, an inventory system, and a strong focus on interactivity with firearms and the environment, creating an immersive experience set in prohibition-era America.
