Brave New World is a single-player modification for Warband. The theme is low-steampunk / high-Victorian. You'll be able to join sides with many factions across the globe. Take up arms with the Mahdist forces of the Sudan against the Imperialist British invaders, or drive deep into Central Asia with the Tzar confronting the Khanate of Bukhara. The choice is yours.

Lot's of spelling and punctuation mistakes. Lots of names are not spaced well and needs to be capitalised. Overall a good mod but definetely needs to rework on some of the names/tags, just seems like the modder rushed everything without checking for spelling errors. Some names for troops don't make any sense. Like English Pikemen. Since its a pikeman, then why is he holding a rifle instead of a pike? Either replace the weapon to pike instead of gun or just rename it to English Footman, or English Infantry

Stolen work is everywhere. Those grammatical mistakes and weird French dialogues? They're stolen. This mod is a compilation of stolen works. Don't even bother touching it. It'd be advisable to report it as well for violating the site's Terms of Use.

Massive amount of work in this, with many little touches which bring out the atmosphere and playability.

For an Alpha build this is very very playable and you won't get a better steampunk feel in any other available warband mod. For steam punk fans, this is our last great hope!

First mod I’ve seen with a full world map, very cool despite some inaccuracies such as half of South America missing.

Ranged weapons work very well in battle, better than “The Red Wars”, but some (if not all) fully automatic weapons do are only semi automatic.

The bleak atmosphere works very well considering the time period and themes of the mod.

Taverns and towns are different and the towns especially (though I haven’t been to all) are well made. Some are a little incomplete however; you should take a look at Floris mod for some reference.

I like the fact that there’s a doctor in the taverns but it's difficult to find companions (though that's only a personal preference)

The amount of weapons and uniforms is amazing, very good work there.

I like how you attack towns differently, fighting through the streets rather than besieging a large castle, although the path-finding of the troops is pretty bad; when besieging Havana all my troops fell in the water.

Hiring troops for castles is great and creating your own troops for your army is a really cool idea.

It’s missing some of the staff members for your kingdom however, like a troop trainer and treasurer which makes the mid to end game less enjoyable.

It’s a little unoptimised, one of the slowest mods to load, though that’s to be expected as it’s a large mod.

Tournaments and arenas take place in vanilla arenas without modern equipment.

Could use a few more bandit patrols but that’s a personal preference.

Many of the villages are still vanilla.

Overall this is a really cool, promising mod. It just needs a more polish. Not many changes have to be made, just optimisation and perhaps updating the villages and tournaments to look more like the time period. I’m giving this an 9 because there’s room for improvement but overall a very solid mod and one worth downloading.

It truly is a great idea. Please fix some certain little bugs and this would be my fave mod.
