A comprehensive overhaul for the 2007's S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl created by the modding community, it enhances various aspects of the original game, including graphics, sound, gameplay mechanics, and bug fixes. The mod improves the overall visual and atmospheric experience while maintaining the essence of the original game's storyline with updated textures, shaders, weather effects, and sound enhancements to immerse players further into the post-apocalyptic world of the Chernobyl exclusion zone. It incorporates optional tweaks to gameplay mechanics for a more modern and polished gaming experience offering players a more refined and visually stunning rendition of the classic game.
You get to see the environment, parallax mapping at work on bricks and tiles (each brick looks like an independant 3D object), and camp fire and anomalies lighting reflecting off the walls.
Looks awesome!
As much as I would love to play the game with this mod.. I don't think my comp can handle it since it cant really handle full dynamic lighting with the base game it seems. Looks great though. ( But it can handle max graphic settings with little to no lagg otherwise )
i didnt read the description before watching and when you got close to the wall i was like: "fff...is that?...is that really parallax mapping? if so then wow..." glad i was right, it looks fantastic.
This mod make the Scopes acctually worth using. They are really nice looking, and the weapon sounds
i never played the game but were scopes on the Original game terrible??
