Forever my #1 Mod.

Always coming back to it, when I want some ST gaming.

Wow perfect timing!

I need some classic SW goodness after seeing that insult of a movie. What an insult to the franchise and the fans' intelligence that was...

Thanks for your hard work and commitment!

One question though, does this mod fix the horrendous duel system in Geheimnisnacht?
Or while i'm at it, the ridiculous one-province CB, which doesnt make any sense, for the Tomb Kings factions?

The devs still said that DK is independent

jesus christ what happened to this mod? it was messy before but now its almost unplayable in terms of singleplayer balance. battleships and dreadnaughts right next door and economy gimps everywhere while the AI gets to cheat extensively.

I guess now that they went on to other problems they just messed this up for fun... sad

Yeah I know that those are pictures and screenshots, but they're so tiny that you can't make them out most of the time, which kinds defies their purpose doesn't it? I mean, in most cases, when you wanna do something, you just click the "orange-brown" one. In most cases, you have absolutely no idea what the picture is supposed to show, and since many don't have clear color cuts, it's even stressing to actually remember their look. so everytime you open a menu, you see this brown picture and have to hover over it, to see what it does, because the icon itself is telling you absolutely nothing, at least until the routine kicks in.

I honestly believe that they should've gone with their own version of the basic SOASE iconography for those. Like they did with the ships. As they are, these icons do "show" absolutely nothing. They just serve as a point to hover or memorize upon.

"Also, if it helps, the locations of the buttons hasn't changed from stock." - Yeah that's what I meant by going from memory rather than from the icons itself.

Short question. I remember when there were still a lot of "placeholder" icons in the game, and the official word was, that those will be changed in time to appropriate iconography. So, are those icons we got now the final versions, or are these still subject to change? I'm just asking because I'm squinting like an Idiot, trying to figure out what some of the icons are supposed to be. Like the basic Romulan(planetary development, log. structures etc.) icons for example. Changed from easily distinguishable iconography, into complex pictures, which's purpose you know because of routine and memory, rather than the icon telling you what it does.

Does this happen to other people, or am I the only one having no idea what some of the icons are supposed to be, thus defying their whole purpose?

True, but that gets old real quick. After a while, you simply don't inlcude them anymore, because you like games, where the outcome isn't predetermined, games that offer some surprises. Playing with, or against the Borg is always the same. That's why you don't have purposely OP factions in most strategy games, because instead of adding to the game, it subtracts. That's what difficulty is for.

Haven't been playing for awhile, and just downloaded CTA two days ago, and holy **** are you guys blowing me away again or what!?

Armada III gets more and more into a state where I wouldn't consider it only my favorite mod, but also my favorte game.

The Borg also seem to be much more playable now. Okay, they're still OP as ****, but at leasst playing with them isn't as autowin as it was before. Though I still believe that, even though it makes sense from a lore point of view, having the Borg this OP, is restricting the gameplay and the variety of it too much.

Anyway, Armada III still is a strong 9/10 for me. No way around it. I'd give it 10/10, but I still can't get over those buttugly STO profile pictures. And I say this as a vivid STO player... Probably wouldn't bother me as much, if you wouldn't have included real life pictures of certain characters in the game, but as it is, this discrepancy between those two is kinda triggering me.

I just want to wish you guys a happy new year, and once again thank you for your hard work and dedication of filling the hole in the gaming market, that is decent Star Trek games.
