This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
On yesterdays 20 hour stream I redid the first praetor texture, it now looks a lot better. The end stretch of this ship is definitely taking longer than the first parts of the build but it's slowly getting there.

Whats the trash can on the back for though?
The world may never know
Wasn't it a shield generator?
Nothing is known about it since the ship is only in one comic and then only mentioned in a few other books.
The design is the original concept art for the Executor so unless someone asks whoever made the drawing before ESB we'll never know.
Some people have headcanon'd it into being a massive cargo hold, but this actually being a shield generator would make much more sense.
a cage for the teezl creature
It's for the giant hamsters that power the ship.
I guess the same hamster that power the Kia Soul
Shield generator of doom. Maybe a shield overcharge ability that completely drains weapons and engine power? LOL Doesn't fit with Imperial concepts and it is understandable why the Praetor II was discontinued almost immediately after leaving prototyping - most of the RD was done by the Republic anyway.
Also, is the community pretty much at a consensus now that the Wermis battlecrusier (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Captain_Wermis's_battlecruiser) is actually an imperial refit of the Praetor I? With the similar sized Tagge battlecruiser (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Tagge_battlecruiser) and the smaller Crimson Jack (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Crimson_Jack's_battlecruiser) as distinct and separate designs, and no one really having any clue as to the Procurator (I see some guesses, but nothing official, semi or otherwise).
This cylinder thing actually a cage to contain hyperspace horror called Teezl.
This thing in the comics were able to jam all communications...
Maybe reinforcment prevention as a special ability?
Nope. The Carrier Praetor in the same comic also had that drum so if the Helmsmen was modified to carry that thing, the other ship would not have it too.
