Here is the new version of Calradia's Borderlands, with a even bigger worldmap and number of factions :)
Added Stuffs from Calradia's Borderlands V1 :
- 7 new factions, in 5 cultures. (detailed description in the article on moddb). So there is now a total of 12 new factions in addition to the base game, plus the Dark Knights invasion
- 6 new claimants : 5 claimants for the 5 kingdoms of the V1 + 1 claimant for the city-state of Blackstone. 4 female, 2 male, so with the original claimants you have 6 female and 6 male claimants. :)
- Reworked sea travel : no more ports, but immediate sea travel similar to Gekokujo
- Dark Knights Invasion : The Dark Knights will be automatically at war with the Knightly Orders (if they are still alive) , and you can now choose when the Dark Knight will invade Calradia.
- You have now the choice to set the Dark Knight invasion to the 500th day ingame (prepare to fight), 250th (prepare to get hurt), or 100th (prepare to die)
- Less "notification spam" : you will get pausing game notification only for war/peace and alliance declaration
- Improved battle scenes and expanded landscapes by TheBowman_TW
- the 60+ new NPC will have a short story to tell , in order to bring more life to their dialogs
- New Castles Scenes for the new factions
- Phoessanids, Xothayi and Ninja towns will now have people more consistent with their culture, and also in the tournaments (kimonos / samurai masks)
- new illustrations for the factions, all AI Generated

Thanks for the report, I think it's a texture on the Freelancer mod. I'll correct this in the next patch.
This mod just keeps getting better and better - 18 factions, 45 towns, 102 castles, 76 companions, 260 lords/vassals, 12 faction claimants, early firearms, and a large and beautiful map - What more could you want (?)

Mod need the following things:
1.Fix camera after death like perisno and battle menu.
2.Disable Peace Arguments Option (Very Annoying).
3.Balance the companions prices some are lvl 50 with (10 trainer skill) and cost 1000 deners while others level 15 and nothing special like red lion cost 1500 deners.
4.No Dark knight invasion tried this options and nothing happened (immediately and 100D).
1 : Yes, the camera after death is a pain in the neck. If you know where to find source code to correct it, I will gladly integrate it.
2 : you mean the option to reclaim money or fiefs for a peace treaty ? I personnally like this feature, but maybe there are some parameters you don't like inside ?
3 : The "specialists" companions are really effective on one expertise (trainer, diplomat, merchant...) but are really weak on other plans. Which price would you prefer for them ? I think between 2000 and 5000 is pretty fair. For others like Red Lion how much would you prefer ?
4 : This is strange, I tried it several times and it always works, especially the "immediatly". Have you try to reset the invasion ? put it on "never" , come back to camp, sleep a few time, and them put it again to "immediatly" ?

Great mod, but one issue with V2 I have came across is it seems to be bugged when you join a lord's Army. Every time you get a promotion or update screen (such as after battles) it goes to a black screen. Also, you don't seem to get issued the proper equipment. This was my experience when joining the Prince of Blackstone's Army. I have not tried it with any other lord or faction on this version. In V1 I used this feature extensively and never had any issues.
Well noted, i've never really used this feature with the new faction, and I'll check the scripts to try to make them compatible.
I used the feature with some of the New Factions in V1, and it worked great. It appears to only be an issue with either V2 or specifically the City State Lords (not sure, I have not tried joining any other Lord during my V2 playthrough).
how do i change kingdom culture to Phoessanids?
You cannot yet, but i work on a patch which will allow that (more precisely change to any culture) + allow to get Dark Knight culture (but for them, only if you have defeated the Dark Knights)
Great mod, the faction balance is amazing!
Only compaint is the ammount of faction notifications that go off constantly, don't know if that's something that's easily fixed, but I've never seen it happen in other mods with more factions.
I will soon release a patch to correct it. You will get political notification only if you belong to one of the faction involved (vassal or your own kingdom). It's far better and let you focus on the essential ingame.

A very exciting extended module, I personally believe it can enhance the differentiation of soldiers from various factions, and some factions have issues with their weapon proficiency, such as Byzantine cavalry

I am still loving this mod. But, two more questions: Will there be a Steam Workshop release?
And, is there anything that can be done about notifications? It is better now, but it is still overload with just war and peace with so many factions?

I would like to say that I have been having a blast with this mod that you are making. I just have 1 question. Is V2 compatible with old save files from V1.1 and onwards? If not, will it be possible for it to be save file compatible in the near future, or should I just restart over and make a new save file?
Hello, sorry I think it's near impossible to make the two version savefile compatible (there are save file editors on the web, but i don't think it will be easy).
There are some alternative solutions :
You can use the character exporter to keep your character and let it play in the V2
The next patch of the V2 will include a easier way to locate all the potential companions (to make your party as you want early in the game)

I love this mod. It's overall concept is cool. I just have few queries now.
1.Can I change the culture of the player faction? If yes, then how?
2.Whenever I create an outpost or a development in a settlement, it always remains stuck at 1 day remaining. How do I solve it? Or, can you or anyone point out if there is any problem?
