* What is Q-Zandronum? *
Q-Zandronum is a fork off Zandronum 3.0 with additional features, fixes and improvements.
Main Features
- Quake Movement: The engine has Quake style movement that modders can turn "on" for their projects, along with CPM and standard Doom movement. Different movement styles for different experiences no longer bound to following only Doom-movement rules. All this means, is circle-jumping, strafe-jumping. CPM and proper crouchslide, it's all here baby!
- Improved netcode and spectating experience: Who doesn't love to have a killcam when spectating PvP matches? Better client-server prediction and general netcode improvements. It may not be perfect (yet) but any improvement is better than no improvement!
- Bugfixes and additions compared to Zandronum 3.0: FOV that you can configure and doesn't reset constantly? YES PLS!

man, this is one of the best mods I've ever played (it even looks like the original game), it's better than brutal doom. In the game options you can enable monsters from quake games and other games, there are other modes (single player, deathmatch). And, in the control options, there are still the lines of the characters (each character has a different life).
That is the most moot comparison I've ever heard.
This and Brutal Doom are nothing alike, that'd be like saying Action Doom 2 is better than Total Chaos.

Can I play SinglePlayer with this?
I load maps at the last of the original order in the shortcuts exes of the mod with ZDL and I am using Q-Zandronum. Because GZDooM doesn't work with the wads in the mods folder and when I drag and drop the megawad file at the exe of the mod, it says fatal error.
Yes, you can. I'm playing now with Unreal Tornament addon.
What megawad are you using? If it uses some GZDoom specific feature then it won't work.
Does the engine tell any details about the fatal error you get?
Have a problem. I tried play Eviternity with Generic Patch, and active ability doesn't work.
There have been many internal changes in QC:DE. Someone needs to update Generic Patch to work with 3.0
Whenever I try to launch a skirmish CTF match it just gives me a wall of text and says "No teamgame starts". What am I doing wrong?
You need CTF compatible maps
Are any of the QCDE or Aeon Maps CTF compatible?
Not in standard mappacks, but there is an addon for that: Moddb.com
You will need to use Server Browser aka Doomseeker to use custom addons. You can host multiplayer and singleplayer games in there, in "Create Game" menu.
Anyway to play on mobile device?
Not this version, because there is no Q-Zandronum port for mobile. For now you are stuck with vanilla Zandronum on Delta Touch, and QC:DE v2.7
You should either update the description telling the last compatible Delta-Touch version or remove any mention of it entirely, since it's unlikely someone would port an obscure modified source port that supports just only a mod...

Original devs don't work on it anymore and don't really follow it's development. So I became the main mod dev.

I'm loving the beta so far, well done on all the content additions. Just want to point out that the file names for "QCDE_UT_Weapons_v3.0_Voxels_beta_1.pk3" and "QCDE_UT_Weapons_v3.0_Hires_beta_1.pk3" are swapped incorrectly.

Delta Touch hasn't updated their Zandronum version. New QC:DE needed features that were not present in Zandronum 3.0, hence why it got it's own engine fork.
The mod will work on Delta Touch if Delta Touch developer builds and adds the required Q-Zandronum version.

The installer shortcut isn't designed to be moddable, but you can still run it the old way via Doomseeker or ZDL

Hi. I copied doom.wad and doom2.wad file to Q-Zandronum folder. And in game I chose these wads. But when I play the game, the original textures appeared. There are no quake textures. What is the problem? Do I need to do another things? Thanks.
I'm confused on what you expect to happen. Do you expect the mod to swap doom textures with quake ones? This mod doesn't do that. It swaps weapons and monsters, and adds player classes to play as. And also provides a lot of PvP content on top of that.
