Hello i love this mod. I was wondering if there is a way to have a engineer build some type of building to add more drops ships to the queue that are available? Thank you very much.
Thanks, unfortunately not. The dropship system is only determined by the mission settings only.
The only way around it would be to make more units deploy using an abilities system (Like Arachnid Command) rather than purchasing from radio stations. Abilities are able to spawn regardless of the dropship counter, however they are not restricted by battletier, DeliveryPlatforms or the singleton trait.
Edit: It is a similar story with the Funds resource. We cannot have units add extra Funds and must be done through the triggers of the mission. The only work around is to make Merc units cost War Support. Hopefully this gets changed in the future.
Is there a way to make the countdown of the drop ship go faster so it is available faster. Seeing that you cant add more drop ships?
can you put guns on Recon_drone?
You can, however you would have to change how the recon drone moves otherwise it would have the swoop animation like a hopper bug to attack.
This is why Fleet Command Tac Fighters hover on the spot, rather than continuously flying around. They have to have a standard movement type to be allowed to use a ranged weapon. Any unit that has constant motion will always default to using the Hopper bugs attack animation.
is there any way to fix the chickenhawn's animation?
It isn't 'broken', it is a design choice to have it bent over, to look closed to how the real Chickenhawk is meant to be. This is until we can get new models into the game.
How to remove the bent animation? It looks so weird that they are aiming at the sky, I wanna make them look like a mini marauder instead. Is it possible?
You just need to add the value "110 fliprotation" for the units turret field.
1. Open the Unit.csv and find the line for the Chickenhawk:
SC_M9_Chickenhawk,50004,base,
2. Scroll across till you find this section after:
,,mech,,300,30,,1,1,,,0.7,,6,200,,,,60
3. Insert the value "110 fliprotation" after the 200,:
,,mech,,300,30,,1,1,,,0.7,,6,200,110 fliprotation,,,60
4. Save the file.
