This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
The EAW Remake 3.1.5 Patch Fixes CTD issue from 3.1, improves performance, adds new VO and a new 146 planet GC map, and tweaks starting units and AI.

i dont think ground battles are being worked on yet, that most likely be version 4 or what ever as it is like a completely different game than space
Not yet, it should be up either later today or tomorrow. As far as we know there's no issues with planet textures. Ground combat is currently disabled until we get the time to redo it properly, and thank you!

Yes Jeroenmo and Remake team are working hard on getting the dirtside part of the mod going. Be patient with them as they do excellent work. For now, enjoy the space skirmish or try the GC.
Of course i will be patient. I love the mod regardless. I just figured it wouldnt hurt to ask a question thats all. Not intented to offend you is all.
You did not offend me at all. My response wasn't intended to sound condescending, but was merely passing on what I had read in other posts. They are working on it, but it takes time to get right.

lol, I just bought the steam version to access other mods since my gog version kept crashing every time tried to load a save. I had given up on this mod but now I'm happy to give it another go. Thanks!

small build menu edit suggestion: remove non special ships from build menu's of planets with such options. mandalore, cis and old republic shipyards, starforge etc. thoughts?
Good afternoon. The question may not be new. How do I fix a crash when loading a saved game in a campaign?
Just don't save when you are in battle, alway save in GC screen.
I'm having this problem too, for whatever reason loading my save files crashes the game everytime. I had saved in the GC screen too, not a battle.
Hello there i was able to download the file with some hardships but now that i copy the files into game folder the game does not open just a white window opens then it closes any way to fix this?
I'm playing from a retail disk and the file has .bat file to launch it for the GOG version and the steam version but not the retail disk. Unless I'm missing something? This is only my second time installing a MOD so if I'm just a noob please tell lol.

The install instructions says to install a 4gb patch and to move a .bat file but i can find neither of these in the directory after unzipping i am at a loss here if somebody could help me i'd be glad

I’ve downloaded everything put it is all in the right files but the game won’t even load up now now any suggestions
It sounds to me like you replaced the base game files with the mod ones that will be why it's not working if that's the case you have to have a seperate file for the entire mod (called MOD then sub file EAWremake) that has all the mod files inside
Major bug issue. As Empire playing the 146 planet, 3 side GC. When I am able to capture Kuat, the game completely crashes. I have to restart/or sign out of windows 10 to be able to do anything. I had only just captured Kuat and not built anything there yet. My fleet included the Eclipse if that matters. That battle was extremely slow due to the Pirates/neutral having a massive fleet. 1 Allegiance SD, 2 ISDs, 2 ISD IIs, 2 victory SDs, and 6 escort carriers.
Also are the ships under construction at Kuat(SSD and other SDs) supposed to be firing on my fleet? Realistic to a point I suppose, but not really "fair" as I cannot engage/destroy those ships.
I always have a map open GC_CORE even if a different one is selected.
Are you interested at all in using assets from say Battlefront 2 (sound effects mainly), that are pretty much of the highest quality for Star Wars assets at the moment? I would be willing to help.

Awakening of the rebellion ground combat is fantasticly balanced you could ask to use there's for your mod or at least use it as a base so the criminals can't just spam that topedo unit
Ehm, how do I install this mod? Have the game on steam but has never downloaded from other than the workshop.
Download the version on here and put the remake file folder in the "mods" part in the steam folder for FoC.(called corruption in my system) If you don't have a "mods" folder under the corruption create it, then put the whole extracted remake folder into that new mods folder you just created. Should look similar to steamapps>common>empire at war>corruption>mods. Then run game through steam and in game under options>mods select Remake mod. Game will then restart in Remake. Hope that helps. Make sure you extract the remake mod and not put in the zipped up folder in mods folder!

How do you save a game? It always locks up on save and on load it CTD.
Hey if you start a GC campaign it tells you exactly how to save to keep the CTD/corrupted file issue. Read that description as it talks about the new features too.(like filter system) Basically on the save part, hit escape and save that way. Do not save while the GC map is paused nor while in a battle. Both will cause the save file to become corrupted. Also since they patched EaW on Steam(only Steam version) it takes longer to make a save.(dunno why exactly)
Its my love game and i also can't load a saved game its simply crash to windows 10... i try all methods in GS campaign and not saved "while the GC map is paused nor while in a battle" what you mentioned.I have installed Star Wars - Empire At War Gold and in game i can save always but in mod never and then sadly become is useless game without a save...Maybe in near future it be solution? very thanks
Why is there no more land battles? Would like to play the full game with the remake mod.
They are working on the ground part of the mod. It takes time to get as awesome as the space part. They have no release date for the ground part either.
